Summary of position
 

Monitise is looking to recruit a highly organised Assistant Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing Communications. The role will assist in the development of all Monitise marketing collateral, including campaigns, websites, events and literature. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. He or she will likely have a year or two’s experience in either an agency or company’s marketing department and who is now looking to further their fledging marketing career by joining a dynamic and fast growing organisation based in the city of London.


Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of Marketing Communications and the rest of the Marketing Department in the development of a wide range of marketing initiatives. These include development and execution of websites, brochures, events, business to business marketing campaigns, video production and partner collateral.

 

Additionally, the Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with other departments in Monitise to provide support for ad hoc marketing requests.  


Knowledge & Skills Required

Essential

Educated to degree level in either marketing or a business related degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An ability to work using their own initiative

Good attention to detail

Experience in managing tasks through to completion

An interest in marketing and advertising

Good understanding of MS Office

Ability for forge effective working relationships internally and externally with agency contacts

A self-managing, self-starter with an enthusiastic and professional approach


Desirable

Marketing degree or post graduate marketing qualifications

Marketing experience within a fast moving environment (FMCG/mobile/Tech) with both B2C and B2B experience

Experience in campaign management, working with agencies, organising events and creative brief writing

Experience/understanding of the different marketing channels including digital (online, mobile and social media) and above and below-the-line

Understanding of print and experience in working with print suppliers

Understanding/interest in the mobile industry
