Summary of position -
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast growing organisation based in the city of London. This role requires a candidate with an extensive background in business to business marketing, copy writing, website management, proposition and messaging, research and go to market launches. Preferably with a background in the mobile phone industry the chosen candidate will be a champion of B2B marketing.
Key aspects to this role will be managing the full range of marketing activities, product launches, material and B2B campaigns. To add and provide thought leadership in positioning Monitise and drive strategic customer and market led propositions for Monitise and Monitise partners across all geographic markets. Other aspects will be the development of an effective digital strategy and candidates with a background within the digital space will be favoured. International marketing skills are also key for this fast paced position within a global company.
This is a fantastic role for an already proven Marketing Manager to apply their skills and creative flair to provide high quality results for an already established global leader in mobile financial services and payments.
Key Responsibilities
Under direction of the Group Marketing Director, create and implement a world class approach to marketing planning and execution across a variety of different marketing challenges.
Through close working with Product Managers, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams assess, recommend and deliver marketing collateral and tools appropriate for the targeted segments, channels and performance targets.
Provide marketing support where required across all territories including Africa, South East Asia, India and the US. This support will include product launches, events, marketing collateral and sales support material.
In addition ensure that all elements of the current Monitise proposition and messaging are fit for purpose and that all customer facing functions have the adequate tools, messages and abilities to sell and support the propositions within all channels and segments.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience
Comprehensive understanding of industry and competitive landscape.
Management of end to end Product Marketing experience is essential.
Track record of delivery of propositions in IT or communications markets
Educated to degree level with additional Business or Marketing qualifications being an advantage
Effective relationship and influencing skills, able to lead virtual teams;
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible enough to meet the demands of a growing, fast-changing environment and effectively prioritise workload.
Experience working in international markets would be an advantage.
