Peter is Chief Marketing Officer of Monitise, where he brings his experience of developing innovative banking services to mobile money.
He was one of the creators of first direct in 1987, becoming its Commercial Director in 1992 as well as Head of Marketing for HSBC. During that period Peter led the strategic development, brand proposition and marketing for the bank and won numerous awards for marketing and customer service, including Direct Brand of the Decade in 2006. A published writer, Peter also speaks regularly at conferences on marketing and customer services issues. He is a member of the Independent Assurance panel for the National Identity Scheme and an Honorary Lifetime Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing.
